Irish Sensation Riverdance Comes to the Heindl Center April 21, 2026
Senatobia, MS (04/06/2026) — Northwest Mississippi Community College's Heindl Center for the Performing Arts brings Irish dancing sensation "Riverdance" to the stage in Senatobia on Tuesday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m.
"We have the unique opportunity to experience the captivating power and grace of 'Riverdance' on the Heindl Center stage," said Dr. Blake Bostick, director of the Heindl Center. "Celebrating three decades as a worldwide phenomenon, the special 30th anniversary tour is sure to be filled with mesmerizing choreography, costumes, lights, and music, all from world-class dancers, musicians, and singers. Don't miss this memorable evening of Irish music and dance with Riverdance live in Senatobia."
"Riverdance 30 - The New Generation" preserves the original vision while innovating its performances to cater to new audiences. Originally appearing on the Eurovision stage, they quickly rose to fame due to their unique performance. Composed by Bill Whelan, produced by Moya Doherty, and directed by John McColgan, the show explores Irish culture as a fusion of art with influences from around the world.
