Musical Duo the Bacon Brothers Coming to the Heindl Center on May 1
Senatobia, MS (04/09/2026) — Northwest Mississippi Community College's Heindl Center for the Performing Arts welcomes The Bacon Brothers to its stage on May 1, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.
"On Friday, May 1, an unforgettable night of music and star power comes to Senatobia as The Bacon Brothers take the stage at the Heindl Center for our final Spring 2026 season event," said Dr. Blake Bostick, director of the Heindl Center. "Featuring acclaimed actor and Hollywood icon Kevin Bacon, alongside his brother, composer and musician Michael Bacon, this duo delivers a sound all their own. Blending folk, rock, soul, and country into their own signature style, the Bacon Brothers have spent decades captivating audiences around the world."
The Bacon Brothers have spent 3 decades exploring various genres of music, including folk, rock, soul, and country music. The exploratory duo seeks to investigate different genres and blend their own so that they learn, expand, and try to put together something fresh.
"We're still exploring the sound we began making all those years ago; we've just gotten a lot better at it," Michael says. "Music is a life's work. It's a universe of things yet to know. We're still making new discoveries."
Their music has taken them from everywhere, from Japan to Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry. While working on their new album, "Ballad of the Brothers," they made several trips to Tennessee and worked with a variety of writers, including Casey Beathard, Brett Tyler, and Kimberly Kelly.
