Casey Baddley Helps Northwest Foundation with Annual Fund Campaign

2011 Nov 18

The Northwest Mississippi Community College Foundation is gearing up for their yearly mail out to 12,000 friends and Alumni of the college asking them to support the school through a contribution to their Annual Fund. Casey Baddley of Nesbit, a member of the Lady Ranger softball team, joined her teammates to help with this very important mailing.

According to Sybil Canon, associate vice president for Development, these letters are mailed to Northwest's supporters with the hope that they will include Northwest in their year-end giving. While the letter asks specifically for scholarship and textbook assistance for NWCC students, donors may give to any specific fund in which they have a special interest.

"The bottom line," said Canon, "is that every gift in its entirety is used to help students, which, in turn, helps Mississippi families and communities because of the increased earning power that Northwest students have when they complete their education."

Friends and supporters who may not receive one of these letters and who wish to contribute may call 662-560-1103 or e-mail srcanon@northwestms.edu.
