Media Advisory/ Press Invite: Ribbon Cutting for R.C. Pugh Library Renovation

Senatobia, MS (11/17/2025) — Northwest Mississippi Community College invites members of the media to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the complete renovation of the R.C. Pugh Library. The event will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, on the front entrance steps of the library.

The ceremony will feature remarks from:

Dr. Michael J. Heindl, President

Dr. Matthew Domas, Vice President of Instruction

Dr. Melissa Wright, Librarian

and a few others.

Following the ribbon cutting, all speakers will be available for media interviews and questions.

Light refreshments will be provided.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside the library.

A full feature story on the renovation, written by Sarah Smith, will be released in the coming days.
