Northwest Fine Arts Hosting their Annual Les Fauves Christmas Art Sale

by Sarah Smith-Hutchinson

Senatobia, MS (11/14/2025) — Northwest Mississippi Community College's Department of Fine Arts is hosting their annual Christmas art sale on November 20, 2025, beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the Fine Arts Gallery on the Senatobia Campus.

"The Art Department is excited to present the annual fall semester Holiday Art Sale," said Ashley Chavis, Northwest Art Instructor. "We have over 100 pieces of visual art including drawings, prints, photographs, paintings, pottery, sculpture, and so much more. Many Northwest students have been working tirelessly to transform original creative ideas into amazing visual communication while exploring the fundamental elements of art and design. We hope you will enjoy us in the Art Department as we celebrate all these wonderful works of art."

This sale is offered twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, to showcase and allow community members to buy pieces of art created throughout the duration of the semester. Students get to participate in a taste of what it's like to sell their art benefitting both them and the art club.
