Pat Hazell's One Man Show Wonder Bread Years Hit the Heindl Center Stage

Senatobia, MS (09/15/2023) — The Wonder Bread Years, a one man show starring Pat Hazell, is coming to the Heindl Center stage on September 23 at 7:00 p.m.

Playing on the nostalgia of the 60s and 70s, the Wonder Bread Years is a show about reminiscing on the past from sitting at the kids table to riding in the back of a Squire Wagon. The show is a self-proclaimed as a "comic bull's-eye for Baby Boomers everywhere."

Hazell was a writer on Seinfeld, the NBC series "American Pie," and he is all about the classic americana. This is what the Wonder Bread Years is all about - the magic of America nostalgia. The Omaha native grew up in the classic American era of "buy American made" and the post war glory. Hazell is credited as a graduate of Omaha Burke High School and has worked a playwright, comedian-writer, and an actor.

The show is a fast-paced tribute to what once was the "good ole days" - those days gone but not forgotten.

"Pat Hazell is truly one of the funniest guys around," said Kerry Goff, Director of the Heindl Center. "His show, The Wonder Bread Years, is a comical salute to Americana. The show is full of multimedia presentations that transport you directly to the 1950s and 1960s."
