STOMP is Coming to the Heindl Center

Senatobia, MS (10/24/2023) — Northwest Mississippi Community College's Heindl Center for the Performing Arts is hosting STOMP, the worldwide phenomenon on November 7 at 7:30 p.m.

STOMP is a musical sensation that started in 1994 in New York City utilizing Matchboxes, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, and even more to create different sounds and rhythms. This show has been a hit since its inception.

"We are thrilled to welcome the theatrical smash hit STOMP to the Heindl Center on November 7," said Dr. Blake Bostick, Director of the Heindl Center. "Creating energizing beats using everything from wooden poles and hubcaps to brooms, bins, and matches, their unique and radical combination of percussion, dance, music, and theatre is sure to be an electrifying performance that everyone will enjoy!"
