The Jazz Age Comes to the Heindl Center with The Postmodern Jukebox Dec. 5, 2025

Senatobia, MS (11/12/2025) — Northwest Mississippi Community College's Heindl Center for the Performing Arts brings the jazz age to the modern age with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox featuring today's modern hits set to the instruments of the Jazz Age on December 5 at 7:30 p.m.

New York City pianist Scott Bradlee created Postmodern Jukebox in 2011 inspired by classic sounds and modern music, he wanted to make the sounds of the Spice Girls into an Andrew Sisters' songs, and with that, he's been doing it ever since. With over a thousand shows down, Postmodern Jukebox has featured a variety of singers, dancers, and instrumentalists.

This show seeks to excite with dancing, fabulous costuming, music that makes you tap your toes, and a nostalgia for the past. Postmodern Jukebox is a refreshing take on new tunes in an old style that will excite audiences both young and old.

"Postmodern Jukebox is a unique act that remakes the pop hits of today into the classic sounds of the legends of yesterday in classic genres like 1920s jazz, Swing, Doo-wop and Motown, brought to life by a cast of some of the world's best singers, dancers, and instrumentalists," said director of the Heindl Center, Dr. Blake Bostick. "With over 2 billion YouTube views and multiple international tours, we are thrilled to bring their acclaimed 'Magic, Moonlight & Mistletoe' World Tour to the Heindl Center with some special bonus selections added for the holidays. So put on your best vintage attire and join us on Friday, December 5 for an incredible evening in Senatobia with Postmodern Jukebox!"
