by Sarah Smith

Senatobia, MS (03/04/2025) — Northwest Mississippi Community College's Northwest Soiree auction goes live March 22 at 12 p.m. Participants can be live from anywhere to bid on items with beginning bidding prices anywhere from $25 to $7,700. The auction will close the night of the Soiree, March 29, at 8:30 p.m.

The auction serves as a fundraiser for the college supporting students, staff and faculty in a variety of ways.

"The auction is important as it is one of the primary ways we raise funds at the Northwest Soiree," said Patti Gordon, executive director of Institutional Advancement. "These funds are used to support our faculty, staff, and students in various different ways throughout each academic year."

The items available this year range from international trips to local weekend getaways, beach condos and other unique experiences. Merchandise includes eclectic art pieces from local artists to autographed items from athletes, actors and beyond.
