Northwest Spring 2018 registration just around the corner

Senatobia, MS (12/11/2017) — Registration for the 2018 spring semester at Northwest Mississippi Community College is just around the corner.

Open registration and orientation for day classes for students who have not previously registered will be held on Monday, Jan. 8 and Tuesday, Jan. 9 on all Northwest campuses.

Open registration for evening classes will be held on Thursday, Jan. 4 from 4:30 - 7 p.m. on all three campuses. Day and evening classes begin on Wednesday, Jan. 10. Late registration will be held Jan. 10-12 and 16-17 from 8 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.

Open registration for day classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On the Senatobia campus, registration will be held in the Haraway Center.

Students may register for Northwest eLearning's online classes Thursday, Jan. 4, 4:30 - 7 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 8 and Tuesday, Jan. 9 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Online classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 16. Late registration for online classes begins Wednesday, Jan. 10 and ends Friday. Jan. 19.

Financial Aid staff will be available on the Senatobia campus and on the other campuses to assist students with financial aid concerns during registration. On the Senatobia campus, Financial Aid staff will be in Room 210 of the McLendon Center, during registration on Thursday, Jan. 4 - Tuesday, Jan. 9 but will return to their office in Yalobusha Hall, Suite 103 on Wednesday, Jan. 10.

Northwest will also offer a variety of classes on campus and online during the college's two eight-week Spring 2018 Mini-Terms. The first session of on-campus Mini-Terms will begin on Jan. 10 and end on March 6, and online Mini-Terms will be held from Jan. 16 - March 9. The second session of on-campus Mini-Terms will be held from March 19 to May 4, and the second session of online Mini-Terms will be held from March 12- May 4.

Open registration for Mini-Terms will be held on Thursday, Jan. 4 - Tuesday, Jan. 9 for the first Spring Mini-Term and Wednesday, March 7 - Friday, March 9 for the second Spring Mini-Term from 8 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.

Registration for first session eLearning Mini-Term classes is during evening school registration on Jan. 4 and day registration Jan. 8-9. Registration for second session eLearning Mini-Term classes is March 6-10.
