Donny Edwards' Elvis Tribute Returns to Heindl Center August 17

Senatobia, MS (07/16/2024) — Northwest Mississippi Community College's Heindl Center for the Performing Arts is elated to announce the return of Donny Edwards: An Elite Tribute to Elvis returning on Saturday, August 17 at 3:00 p.m.

Edwards is famous for his acts tributing the King of Rock and Roll. Edwards is an international, award-winning, and highly sought-after performer. As a performer he has extreme versatility showcasing all of Elvis' eras. Starting with the early days of Rock 'n' Roll in the 1950s, you take an epic journey through the life of a musical legend.

Edwards has among many other professional accomplishments has been a star performer at Las Vegas' "Elvis-a-Rama" museum and showroom He has appeared on the cover of two books about Elvis Tribute artists, and is a two time world champion of two of the biggest Elvis contests ever at the Isle of Capri and Potawatomi in 2006 and 2007.

"We are thrilled to kick off our Fall 2024 season on Saturday, August 17, with the return of Donny Edwards: An Elite Tribute to Elvis, back by popular demand," said Dr. Blake Bostick, director of the Heindl Center. "Donny Edwards was one of our first performances after we opened in 2023, and we are all shook up to welcome him back on August 17 during Elvis week."
