by Sarah Smith

Senatobia, MS (11/30/2023) — Northwest Mississippi Community College is presenting "A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live on Stage" on Dec. 5 at the Heindl Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live on Stage" is a live performance of the fan favorite Charles M. Schulz classic TV special. Since the premiere in 1965, the Charlie Brown Christmas special has become a beloved holiday favorite.

The show is a 90-minute performance with a 20-minute intermission that features professional actors who sing and dance as part of the show. The show also features the classic Christmas sounds everyone has come to love by composers such as Vince Guaraldi.

"Everyone's favorite holiday classic will come to life on the Heindl Center stage this Tuesday, December 5 in the spectacular touring production of 'A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live on Stage'," said Heindl Center Director, Dr. Blake Bostick. "Bring the whole family and come join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the whole Peanuts gang as they sing, dance, and learn the true meaning of Christmas!"
