Hopper named Most Beautiful at Northwest Beauty Review
Senatobia, MS (04/30/2019) — Northwest Mississippi Community College freshman Kaitlyn Anne Hopper of Olive Branch was named Most Beautiful at the Northwest Beauty Review on April 24. The event was held in Howard Coliseum on the Senatobia campus. Nineteen young women competed in this year's event, and judges selected Most Beautiful and four runners-up.
Hopper is the 19-year-old daughter of Gary and Kathy Hopper of Olive Branch. Hopper is a freshman pursuing a degree in biology at the DeSoto Center. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and is on the President's List. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and friends and her dogs Luna and Knox. Her motto is "The pain you feel today is the strength you will feel tomorrow."
The first runner-up in this year's event was 17-year-old Madison Marie Daniels of Oxford. She is the daughter of Mark and Lisa Daniels of Oxford. Daniels is a freshman on the Lafayette-Yalobusha Center. She is pursuing a degree in nursing. Daniels is a volunteer volleyball coach for all ages in Oxford schools and she also helps coach younger girls to prepare for pageants. When she is not coaching others, she likes to participate in pageants. She has participated in the Miss Magnolia State pageant for three years.
Shukira Makayla King was this year's second runner-up. She is the 18-year-old daughter of Raymond Loveberry and Shundra King of Senatobia. She is a freshman pre-nursing major. She works as a student recruiter and is a work study student in the Office of Admissions and Records. During her free time, she likes hanging out with her friends, studying for her upcoming tests and visiting in the Student Support Services office.
This year's third runner-up was Abby Nicole Billingsley, the 19-year-old daughter of Zander and Stephanie Billingsley of Senatobia. She is a freshman studying nursing, and plans to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Billingsley was recently inducted into PTK and is on the President's List. Billingsley is a Ranger cheerleader and loves coaching young girls and working at cheer clinics. She enjoys hanging out with family and friends, cheering on the Rangers, watching baseball, traveling and helping out around her community. She is the recipient of the Allen Thurman and Mildred Gabbert Veazey Endowment.
The fourth runner-up for this year's Beauty Review was McKenzie Kinnison Riley, the 18-year-old daughter of Jason and Melanie Riley of Hernando. She was a member of the Northwest 2018 Homecoming court and is a Ranger cheerleader. Riley loves to cheer on the Ranger athletes. In her spare time, she likes to hang out with her family and friends and watching Hulu and Netflix. She is the recipient of the Bob and Ann Darnell Endowment.
