LeAnn Rimes to Grace Heindl Center Stage on June 29

Senatobia, MS (06/17/2024) — Grammy award winner LeAnn Rimes is coming to Northwest Mississippi Community College's Heindl Center for the Performing Arts on June 29 at 7:30 p.m.

Rimes is known for her country music that has captivated audiences for over 25 years. She's been a country music sensation since she hit the stage when she was a kid. A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Rimes grew up in the south singing her way around the country. She hails multiple awards and honors including Billboard Music Awards, Lone Star Film & Television Award for Rising Star Actress, and two Grammys amongst many other accolades.

"We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the unparalleled talent of Mississippi-native and Grammy-winner LeAnn Rimes to the Heindl Center stage on Saturday, June 29," said Director of the Heindl Center, Dr. Blake Bostick. "LeAnn Rimes is a global multi-platinum-selling artist and celebrated songwriter who has sold more than 48 million units and won two Grammy Awards-one of which she won at just 14 years old, making her the youngest recipient of a Grammy ever. A true vocal powerhouse, LeAnn Rimes has captivated audiences for 28 years, using her voice to inspire and uplift with hits like 'Can't Fight the Moonlight,' 'How Do I Live,' 'I Need You,' 'Blue' and "One Way Ticket.'"
