Mississippians Receive NW Foundation Scholarships

Senatobia, MS (06/28/2023) — On May 31 at the Northwest Senatobia campus, Northwest Mississippi Community College Foundation awarded scholarships during their annual signings. The Northwest Foundation has awarded 606 scholarships in the amount of $569,050 for the 2023-2024 academic year. The Foundation currently monitors 411 named scholarship endowments and are appreciative to faithful scholarship sponsors. Congratulations to the following scholarship recipients: (front row L-R) Veronique Cole of Indianola, The Raiford Lindsey Fancher Endowed Scholarship; Iyanna Ford of Clarksdale, The Paper Packers Endowed Scholarship; Kaylee Owens of Fulton, The Danny Ray Cole Endowed Scholarship; (second row L-R) Elijah Ruffin of Philadelphia, The John Sharp "Sonny" Orrell Endowed Scholarship; Austin Batts of Cleveland, The Faust Farms Endowed Scholarship; Cooper Long of Tupelo, The Coach Kenneth ''Cat" Robbins Endowed Scholarship; Crista Wilson of Corinth, The Chance Family Endowed Scholarship; and Tylan Watson of Houston, The Cecil Gene Howell Endowed Scholarship.
