Northwest Choirs Present a Holiday Spectacular on December 5

by Sarah Smith

Senatobia, MS (11/22/2024) — Northwest Mississippi Community College's Choirs presents a Holiday Spectacular on December 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the Heindl Center for the Performing Arts.

"We will sing portions of Handel's 'Messiah,' several classic holiday tunes, and the audience will join in singing two traditional carols," said director of Choral Activities, Dr. Alex Belohlavek. "The concert features brass and strings and will be a warm and inviting way to usher in the close of the fall semester while launching into winter holiday festivities."

These concerts are a way for the students to give back to the community who have supported them by spreading Christmas cheer and showcasing the chops they have been developing throughout the semester.

The concert is free and open to the public. Dr. Belohlavek welcomes everyone to come and attend to kick off the holiday season.
