Northwest Foundation Board Plans Fundraiser, the Northwest Soiree

by Patti Gordon

Senatobia, MS (11/17/2023) — The Northwest Foundation Board of Directors discussed plans at its quarterly board meeting for the Foundation's annual fundraiser, the Northwest Soiree, which will be held on March 2, 2024. The board is rallying behind this premier fundraiser, as it will make a meaningful impact in the lives of Northwest students and in the communities that the college serves. The board is comprised of dedicated individuals from many of the counties that Northwest serves and met for their final quarterly meeting of 2023 on Nov. 14.

They also received an update on the college, which included information about renovations to the Northwest Library, new campus entrance plans for the DeSoto Center, and the new Ranger Center project, also being constructed at the DeSoto Center. The Northwest Foundation was chartered and incorporated in 1975 for the sole purpose of fostering the mission and goals of Northwest Mississippi Community College. Tickets for the Soiree are on sale now on the website at heindlcenter.org.
