by Patti Gordon

Senatobia, MS (11/22/2024) — The Northwest Foundation Board of Directors discussed plans at its quarterly board meeting for the Foundation's annual fundraiser, the Northwest Soiree which will be held on March 29, 2025. The board is rallying behind this premier fundraiser, as it will make a meaningful impact in the lives of Northwest students and in the communities that the college serves. The board is comprised of dedicated individuals from many of the counties that Northwest serves and met for their final quarterly meeting of 2024 on November 20. They also received an update on the college, which included a report of nine-consecutive semesters of positive enrollment growth and the opening of The Ranger Center on the DeSoto Campus for an expanded Nursing Program. The Northwest Foundation was chartered and incorporated in 1975 for the sole purpose of fostering the mission and goals of Northwest Mississippi Community College.
