Northwest Soiree Auction Opens on Saturday April 11, 2026 (EMBARGO April 11, 2026)

by Sarah Smith-Hutchinson

Senatobia, MS (04/10/2026) — Northwest Mississippi Community College's Foundation annual Soiree auction opens on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 12 p.m. It will close the following week during the Northwest Soiree on April 18, 2026, at 8:30 p.m.

The Northwest Soiree: a Garden Gala is Northwest's premier fundraising event dedicated to supporting the college's mission and students. Held at Northwest's Heindl Center for the Performing Arts, this formal ticketed event celebrates and honors community award recipients, demonstrating the college's engagement with its supporters. The night's entertainment is singer-songwriter Dave Barnes.

Co-Chair of the Auction Committee for the Northwest Soiree, Gracie Perry of Strayhorn, said that this is an exciting auction year, with more items than ever before, thanks to the auction team's hard work and generous donors.

"This auction truly would not have been possible without their help," said Perry, "This will be our largest auction yet, with 106 packages for individuals to bid on. I can't wait to see how well it does and who ends up winning these great items."

Last year, the auction raised about $23,500 through the auction alone, and they hope to exceed that this year.
