Tate County Natives Receive NW Foundation Scholarships

Senatobia, MS (06/20/2023) — On May 30 at the Northwest Senatobia campus, Northwest Mississippi Community College Foundation awarded scholarships during their annual signings. The Northwest Foundation has awarded 606 scholarships in the amount of $569,050 for the 2023-2024 academic year. The Foundation currently monitors 411 named scholarship endowments and are appreciative to faithful scholarship sponsors. Congratulations to the following scholarship recipients: (front row L-R) - Seth Green of Senatobia, The Lauren Elizabeth Tallo Endowed Scholarship; Aubree Hall of Senatobia, The Gateway Tire Endowed Scholarship; Amberly Rowell of Senatobia, The Be the Light Annual Scholarship; (second row L-R) Riley Bittel of Hernando, The Allen Thurman and Mildred Gabbert Veazey Endowed Scholarship; Jackson Jenkins of Senatobia, The William Preston (Bill) and Frances Crouch Perkins Endowed Scholarship; Clayton Powers of Sarah, The Youth Progress Association Endowed Scholarship for Senatobia High School; Harrison Heindl of Senatobia, The Jones-Pointer Endowed Scholarship for Senatobia and Magnolia Heights Students; and Roshan Khan of Como, The Youth Progress Association Endowed Scholarship for Magnolia Heights School.
